Your Robe

I keep your robe hanging behind the door.

Like a band aid on a sore. Like a seed within the core. Waiting to surface, waiting to heal, waiting to really feel. Wanting to take it down and hang something new, something that won't remind me of you. But there or not, then that empty spot. Still I will know and still I will rot.
